World Card Making Day - RemARKable Stampers Blog Hop Stop Four

Happy World Card Making Day! Welcome to Stop Four of the RemARKable Stampers Blog Hop. We've got plenty of inspiration for you to absorb.  Sit back, relax, grab a cup of your favorite beverage or a snack and enjoy!

The stamp set Creative Elements is one of my favorite sets.   During this blog hop, I will be sharing my creations using this set.  Here is my fourth card:

Stamping off the flower image and sponging with Crumb Cake help to offset the sentiment from Create a Cupcake.
While perusing Pinterest, I found several cards featuring this basic layout.  I varied my creation by masking the top portion of the top Very Vanilla piece with post-it notes and using double-time stamping on the bottom portion of the card.  My color combo originated from the Gumball Green card from the Color Coach.  I used the stamping off technique with the Wide Oval sentiment piece.

Stamps: Creative Elements, Create a Cupcake
Paper: Gumball Green, Very Vanilla
Ink: Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede
Accessories: Big Shot, Designer Frames embossing folder, Extra Large Oval punch, Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Sponge

World Card Making Day - RemARKable Stampers Blog Hop - Stop Three

Happy World Card Making Day! Welcome to Stop Three of the RemARKable Stampers Blog Hop. We've got plenty of inspiration for you to absorb. Sit back, relax, grab a cup of your favorite beverage or a snack and enjoy!

The stamp set Creative Elements is one of my favorite sets.  During this blog hop, I will be sharing my creations using this set.  Here is my third card:
I chose the color combo for this card from the International Bazaar designer series paper.  This Pinterest inspired card originally featured the eight-petaled flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack.  Instead I chose to use the four-petaled flower to parallel the shape in the the designer series paper.  I used the Rock and Roll technique with Pool Party and Pacific Point to stamp the butterfly image directly to the First Edition designer series paper, then adhered another butterfly to the first image with a Stampin' Dimensional.  For the finishing touches, I added Dazzling Details on the butterfly, Basic Rhinestones to the flowers, Whisper White Organza ribbon dyed with Tangerine Tango re-inker and water to match the designer series paper, and some sponging.

Stamps: Creative Elements
Paper: Pool Party, Pacific Point, Whisper White, International Bazaar designer series paper, First Edition Specialty designer series paper
Ink: Pool Party, Pacific Point
Accessories: Big Shot, Designer Frames embossing folder, Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack, Basic Rhinestones, White Organza ribbon, Tangerine Tango reinker, Dazzling Details, Two-way glue pen, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Sponges

Language Of Friendship Sale-a-Bration Card

Sad to say, but I've had this stamp set for a few months and it got neglected until I saw it in the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  Here is a card that I cased from Michele Reynolds, one of my fellow demonstrators.  It is one of the cards that I created for my  Sale-a-Bration stamp camps.

I ran some Naturals White card stock through the Big Shot with the Designer Frames embossing folder.  Then I trimmed around the oval with my paper snips and sponged it with Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the bird and flowers with Island Indigo ink on Pool Party card stock.  After cleaning the bird stamp (an important step), I inked it up with Always Artichoke ink and stamped it onto Wild Wasabi card stock, then punched out the branch.  I stamped the flowers randomly onto Pool Party card stock with Pool Party ink and stamped the sentiment with Island Indigo ink.  The card base is Wild Wasabi.  I adhered the bird and flowers on to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I adhered the branch with Tombow, then added the pearls.

Stamps: Language of Friendship (you can earn this set for free with a $50 purchase!)
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Pool Party, Naturals White
Ink: Always Artichoke, Pool Party, Island Indigo, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Bird Builder punch, Boho Blossoms punch, Big Shot, Designer Frames embossing folder, Pearls, Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy Stamping!
