You're My Type - Freshly Made Sketches 25

It's been a while since I've made the time to play on any sketch challenges.  This past week my four lovely children have been on spring break.  In previous years, the spring break week has been partially used for snow make-up days. However, since we've had such a mild winter, the kids didn't have to use any snow make-up days.  So, they've been home all week long.  A few of those days were 35-40 degrees with rain (think of kids stuck inside with NOTHING to do!) and a few have been spring-like.  Today is one of those spring-like days.  So I watched a few documentaries (love them!) on hbogo.com while working on a few masculine cards for my "Man Card" class this week.  I tied this card to the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. Without further adieu:
I hope you like this card.  The text in First Edition specialty designer paper actually has information on the history of the typewriter.  Not sure if it's accurate, but it was perfect for this project.  I also love the Well Worn dsp.  It's perfect for masculine cards - and I had to hold back and not use it on every card for my class.  Let me know what you think.

Stamps: You're My Type
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze, Well Worn dsp, First Edition specialty dsp, Very Vanilla
Ink: StazOn Jet Black
Accessories: Neutral brads, paper piercing tool, mat pack, Stampin' Dimensionals

Now that I've been making cards all afternoon I've neglected my kitchen duties.  Hmm, what should we have for supper...

Happy Stamping!

Susan
