A few nights ago while we were getting ready for bed Clarice told me that she wants to go to heaven. I asked her why and she said, "Because I want to see Jesus!" What an imagination and curiosity my little girl has. I told her that I need her to be here on Earth with me right now, but when it's time for her to go to heaven, she'll be my angel.

Beautiful card! I love the scored lines for the background! Isn't amazing what a grasp children can have at such a young age? Your story reminded me of when my FIL died. My youngest couldn't understand why everyone was crying and sad if Papaw was in heaven and not sick anymore. Melted my heart! We did a simple explanation that we weren't sad that he was in heaven, but were sad because we were going to miss seeing and talking to him.
