Open Sleigh - One of My Convention Swaps

Here's a card that I designed for one of my Convention 2012 swaps. I forgot that I didn't share it yet.
The designer series paper is from the set Bring on the Cheer.  I "tied" the bow with a Champagne Glimmer Brad from the Neutral Glimmer Brads collection.  It think it matches well with the Early Espresso card stock.

Here's another view:
Because I couldn't get the Early Espresso embossing powder in time to create my Convention swaps, I used Early Espresso ink. (Love those new ink pads!)  For my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack, I'm going to simplify this card a bit and have all the ladies emboss the sleigh.  Knowing my customers, it'll be a hit!

For those locals who want to attend my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack, the dates are Wednesday, October 10th at 1 pm and Thursday, October 11th at 10 am. I may also add an evening class and will be delighted to facilitate private evening classes in someone else's home.

A few days before school started, one of my girls got a cruddy throat virus.  It has now passed through the entire house.  My husband Randy ended up with a sinus infection and was home from work almost all of last week. (Kinda put a damper in my "back to school" crafting workout, LOL!)  Clarice ended up with bronchitis.  The rest of us made it through without a secondary infection.  The last victim of this "crud" is Bradley he and is really whinny!  He may miss his first cross country meet tomorrow. Let me tell you, this illness wasn't fun; I had the sorest throat EVER!  So I know how Bradley is feeling right now.  Hopefully, he will get over it in a day or two without complications.

Stamps: Open Sleigh
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Be of Good Cheer designer series paper
Ink: Early Espresso
Accessories: Big Shot, Northern Flurry embossing folder, Cherry Cobbler Scallop Dots Ribbon, Neutrals Glimmer Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy Stamping!

Our house is battling the sinus stuff right now. Fortunately, none of us have been 'down and out' with it. Hope your family is on the mend soon!

Love all of the layers and the wonderful colors on this card! Your blog update looks terrific too!
