Happy Anniversary!!!

I got this stamp set as a gift at Leadership last January and never even used it.  What a shame!  I decided to wet it with some ink a few weeks ago when I saw a sample on Diana Gibbs' blog.  Lo and behold, this stamp set made it into the 2014-2015 catalog!!!  (So excited about that, can you tell???)

Anyhow, Hello, Sailor is the perfect stamp set for us since Randy served in the US Navy for 24 years.  We have weathered through the roughest of storms together.  Today is our 21st anniversary : )

This is one of the cards that I will be making at my Stamp and Lunch class at Rocko's Pizzeria today at 11 am.  Local peeps, come and check it out!  Bring a new friend to class with you and you'll get to make two sets of cards!

After my class, Randy and I are off to Pittsburgh to watch the Pirates game. Hope it doesn't rain!

RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour - Magnificent Maple

Welcome to the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour.  This month some of our most talented stampers are featuring the stamp set called Magnificent Maple.  This is a single stamp featured on page 18 of the Holiday Catalog. Oh, the magnificent possibilities one can dream of using this stamp!
Item 131868 $9.95

For this blog hop I created several versions of the same style card using different card stock color combinations.  For all of the cards I used Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie inks. I also added Cajun Craze to a few of them.  Once completed, the cards needed something "extra," so I added some Crumb Cake splotches from Gorgeous Grunge.  Here they are in no particular order:

I purposefully did not add sentiments to these cards.  It's always good to have all-purpose cards around that are ready to be personalized.

Any questions about these projects, please send me an email.  ...Next up on the tour is Tamra Davis.   Click on the image below or go to her blog following this link: http://thecardladies.com.
