25th Anniversary RemARKable Blog Tour - Best of Sale-A-Bration!

Welcome to the last installment of the RemARKable Best of Blog Tour. It's hard to believe that the whole year of the "Best of" has come to a close.  All along I was wondering how Stampin' Up! would wrap it up.  Of course, Sale-A-Bration is the biggest promotion of the year, and those exclusive Sale-A-Bration stamp sets have always been a treat. So what better way to end this series than with a Best of Sale-a-Bration set!

Item 134393

Here is what I created for this tour:

I used coordinating markers to ink the stamp set.  I added a rhinestone in the center of the flower to give it a little bling.

I alsolutely love the Sale-a-Bration designer paper this year!  There are so many exciting colors and patterns to choose from in one single pack of designer paper.  As I was playing with it, inspiration came to me from a card sketch.  Thus, this card was born!

25th Anniversary RemARKable Blog Tour - Best of Snow

I love snow!  Yes, I'll repeat myself, "I love snow!!!"  Right about now some of you might be thinking of harming me by what I just wrote -- because I know some of you do not enjoy the wintry scenery that has blanketed our area lately  But I have to admit that this stamp theme is very timely!...

Welcome to the RemARKable 25 Years with Stampin' Up! Blog Tour!  This month the RemARKables are showcasing November's theme "Best of Snow." You may have arrived here from Jackie Bottomley's blog.  I really enjoyed her punch art snowman!

Here are three different tags that I created using this stamp set.  A few of them were part of my Christmas tags class that I hosted last week.

Aren't those hedgehogs cute?!?

Notice anything new in these photos???  I snuck a new product on a few of them from the Spring Catalog -- the Silver Baker's Twine.  How do you like it?  If you have any questions about these project, please send me an email or leave a comment.

25th Anniversary RemARKable Blog Tour - Best of Autumn

Welcome to the RemARKable 25 Years with Stampin' Up! Blog Tour!  This month the RemARKables are showcasing September's theme "Best of Autumn." You may have arrived here from Jackie Bottomley's blog.  I am always amazed at her projects!

Best of Autumn Item 134390
I designed this card for my fall card class earlier this month.

The ladies really liked it and wondered where I got the birch bark paper.  Well folks, it can only be purchased through the Thankful Tablescape Bundle.  I used the journaling tip of the markers to color this cute little tree.  My ladies really liked how this card came together so quickly.

RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour - Harvest of Thanks

Welcome to the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour.  This month some of our most talented stampers are featuring the stamp set called Harvest of Thanks. (Some others are using the Christmas ornament set.)  This distressed image set is featured in the Holiday catalog and contains shapes that coordinate with some of our Sizzix framelits.  Even if  you don't stamp "perfectly," these images turn out looking fine every time.

Wood Mount 131736 $20.95 Clear Mount 131739 $15.95

Here is my creation:

I paired this stamp set with Marvelous Maple stamped in Versamark on Soft Sky card stock.  I also used a piece Sweater Weather designer series paper.  I finished up the card with a strip of fringed Burlap Ribbon and a Naturals designer button with a bit of the leftover burlap tied into the button.

This card is quick and easy to create. I'm going to send it to the Girl Scout leaders who tool my girls on a bus trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo today.

Any questions about these projects, please send me an email.  ...Next up on the tour is Tamra Davis.   Click on the image below or go to her blog following this link: http://thecardladies.com.

RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour - Magnificent Maple

Welcome to the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour.  This month some of our most talented stampers are featuring the stamp set called Magnificent Maple.  This is a single stamp featured on page 18 of the Holiday Catalog. Oh, the magnificent possibilities one can dream of using this stamp!
Item 131868 $9.95

For this blog hop I created several versions of the same style card using different card stock color combinations.  For all of the cards I used Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie inks. I also added Cajun Craze to a few of them.  Once completed, the cards needed something "extra," so I added some Crumb Cake splotches from Gorgeous Grunge.  Here they are in no particular order:

I purposefully did not add sentiments to these cards.  It's always good to have all-purpose cards around that are ready to be personalized.

Any questions about these projects, please send me an email.  ...Next up on the tour is Tamra Davis.   Click on the image below or go to her blog following this link: http://thecardladies.com.

25th Anniversary RemARKable Blog Tour - Best of Shelli

Welcome to the RemARKable 25 Years with Stampin' Up! Blog Tour!  This month the RemARKables are showcasing July's theme "Best of Shelli." You may have arrived here from Jackie Bottomley's blog.  Love her creations!
Best of Shelli - Item 133488
Here's my first card. I designed this one for a recent Simply Scored class.  We used one of the zigzag designs on it.  Each one of the presents is paper-pieced.  I used some of the 2013-2014 In Colors.  I won the Pistachio Pudding Trim at Convention :)

For this next card, I used the faux-tile technique.  I also rocked and rolled the hummingbird.

RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour - Tag It!

Welcome to the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour.  This month some of our most talented stampers are featuring the stamp set called Tag It.  This is a fabulous all occasion set!  What is really great about this set is that it coordinates with the Chalk Talk Framelits Dies.  And it's this year's Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set.  This means that Stampin' Up! will donate $3 for each stamp set they sell.  To date, Stampin' Up! has donated over one million dollars to RMHC!

Now on with my creations!

For this one, I referred to the Bermuda Bay Color Coach card for my color choices.

I used paper from the Seasons of Style designer series paper stack for this Christmas card.  I kinda like how the Labels Collection Framelits work with the Chalk Talk Framelits.

Any questions about these projects, please send me an email.  ...Next up on the tour is Tamra Davis.   Click on the image below or go to her blog following this link: http://thecardladies.com.

25th Anniversary RemARKable Blog Tour - Best of Greetings

Welcome to the RemARKable 25 Years with Stampin' Up! Blog Tour!  This month the RemARKables are showcasing June's theme "Best of Greetings." You may have arrived here from Jackie Bottomley's blog.  She did a great job with her projects!

Best of Greetings Item # 133485

Here's my first one. I am growing very fond of the Crisp Cantaloupe and Pear Pizzazz color combo!

I used the Flower Shop bundle along with the Little Leaves die.

Here's my next one:
This card is a very simple one-layer card.  I paired the Best of Greetings set with Flowering Flourishes.

This card features an image from Thoughts & Prayers.

RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour - Chalk Talk

Welcome to the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour.  This month some of our most talented stampers are featuring the stamp set called Chalk Talk from the newly released Stampin' Up! catalog.

In celebration of going to Convention this week, I got all excited and created several items for you to enjoy.  Here's the first one:

Here's a close-up of how I created the tag with a few extra layers of hearts.

and here's a 3-D item featuring the Tag a Box:

You can fit lots of things into these cute boxes.  Here I've filled it with thin mints, you know the Girl Scout cookies??? I had them hidden in the freezer.  This special box went to my husband Randy who celebrated a birthday earlier this week.  At first I had the "something" stamped in red.  But I changed it to green after I decided what was going in the box.

So many projects here. If you have any questions, please send me an email.

Next up on the tour is Tamra Davis.  Can't wait to see her at Convention!  Click on the image below or go to her blog following this link: http://thecardladies.com.
