One of My Leadership Swaps

Here's the card I designed for the Leadership Shoebox Swap hosted by Sherrie Robinson.  It was an incredible amount of fun! Can't wait to participate in another swap at Convention!!!

I think I've got the flu - sore throat, headache, fever, body aches and the chills - so I have to reschedule tonight and tomorrow's stamp club meetings and tomorrow night's downline meeting.  I'll be in touch directly with those members affected by my sudden illness.  It's no fun for Stampin' Mom of Four to be ill!!!

Stamps: Blooming with Kindness, Papillon Potpourri, Lovely Little Labels
Paper: Very Vanilla, Summer Starfruit, Marina Mist
Ink: Marina Mist, Summer Starfruit
Accessories: Oval punch, Bitty Butterfly punch, Little Labels Punch Pack, 1/16" circle punch, Vintage Trinkets, Summer Starfruit Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy Stamping!

More Single Stamps!

Wow!  I've had so much to share the last few days from Leadership!  One group of items that really caught my attention was the new single stamps.  According to Stampin' Up! there was a great response last fall to their experiment with single stamps, so much so that they released ten more never-before-seen images available through March 31, 2013.  Take a peek:

I don't know why, but I LOVE the sunglasses!  Which one is your favorite?  Let me know what you think.

Another thing that caught my attention during Leadership was the class How to Get to Managers' Reception Next Year with Brian Pilling.  Although I hold the title Manager, I attended this event with my downline Lynn to hear the latest information and to get excited for next year's Leadership conference.  I hope that Lynn can attend with me!

Just a few more sleeps and we'll be in Sale-a-Bration mode!!!

25th Anniversary "Best of" Stamp Sets

As part of Stampin' Up!'s 25-year anniversary celebration, we're bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will be released - one set per month - during 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each "Best of" set will also include a never-before-seen image!

Best of Birthdays stamp set is available now (item 132929) clear mount only.

All Best of stamp sets will include 3-5 images, including a never-before seen image, and will be priced at $14.95.
  • While we are releasing just one Best of stamp set per month (with a new theme each month), all of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014.
  • A new flyer will be released every month for each new Best of set.
  • All Best of stamp sets are available in Clear-Mount only.
As a special incentive to collect the Best of stamps, starting in February Stampin' Up! is including a collector's card and 25-year proof of purchase sticker with every Best of set. Collect six stickers, and send it in to redeem a FREE set of your choice valued up to $14.95! Free sets must be redeemed no later than April 30, 2014.

Here's another tidbit from Leadership 2013: I attended the class called Successful Strategies to Empower Your Downline with Holly Linford and Lynsay Mahon.  Their presentation centered around climbing a mountain; you have to take smaller steps to get to the next base camp until you finally reach the summit.

Stay tuned tomorrow for some more info from Leadership : )

On another note, I'm trying to decompress and absorb all that I learned at the Leadership Convention.  One class that I attended was called Creating a Blueprint for Success presented by Brandi Barnard and Megan Daves. This class focused on how to have a profitable and successful business through the use of a business plan.  Off to plan some more. But first, I have to cook dinner for the kids -- we've having our first Taco Tuesday -- planned my my own Dide Carlson : )

Highlights of Leadership 2013 Convention: Part 1 - Meet New People Find New Faces

Screen Shot 2013-01-13 at 11.08.53 AM

One of the new products that caught my attention at the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference was the new "man" kit called Dude, You're Welcome.  It's a kit made for the man in your life who needs to stamp some quick and easy cards, and still feel like a man.  Available for purchase on January 14th...THAT'S TOMORROW!!!

Here's a video to see the Dude, You're Welcome stamp kit in action:  (If you're reading this message via email, click on the title to go directly to my blog.)

One of the classes that I attended at the Stampin' Up! Leadership 2013 conference was called Meet New People Find New Faces hosted by Shannon West. She presented 10 proven ways to generate leads, build my customer base, and increase profitability.  I think this class will come in handy while searching for some dudes to purchase this new kit.
