25th Anniversary RemARKable Blog Tour - Best of Christmas

Welcome to the RemARKable 25 Years with Stampin' Up! Blog Tour!  This month the RemARKables are showcasing October's theme "Best of Christmas." You may have arrived here from Jackie Bottomley's blog.  I am always impressed with her projects!

Best of Christmas - Item 134384

I designed this gift box for one of my private Christmas classes.

I used one of the Extra-Large Gift Boxes and stamped some snowflakes from the Snowflake Soiree stamp set in White Craft ink and dressed the box with the Cherry Cobbler 1" Stitched Edge Grosgrain Ribbon.  For the tag, I stamped the Santa image with StazOn onto Whisper White card stock, colored him with markers, then cut it with one of the Chalk Talk framelits.

Here is a closer look at the tag:

25th Anniversary RemARKable Blog Tour - Best of Autumn

Welcome to the RemARKable 25 Years with Stampin' Up! Blog Tour!  This month the RemARKables are showcasing September's theme "Best of Autumn." You may have arrived here from Jackie Bottomley's blog.  I am always amazed at her projects!

Best of Autumn Item 134390
I designed this card for my fall card class earlier this month.

The ladies really liked it and wondered where I got the birch bark paper.  Well folks, it can only be purchased through the Thankful Tablescape Bundle.  I used the journaling tip of the markers to color this cute little tree.  My ladies really liked how this card came together so quickly.

A New Song - Take a Listen

It's been a while since I shared an inspirational song.  Here's one I heard a few days ago on the radio. I'm not really into country music or banjos, but I do like the message this song conveys. It's kinda growing on me.

RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour - Harvest of Thanks

Welcome to the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour.  This month some of our most talented stampers are featuring the stamp set called Harvest of Thanks. (Some others are using the Christmas ornament set.)  This distressed image set is featured in the Holiday catalog and contains shapes that coordinate with some of our Sizzix framelits.  Even if  you don't stamp "perfectly," these images turn out looking fine every time.

Wood Mount 131736 $20.95 Clear Mount 131739 $15.95

Here is my creation:

I paired this stamp set with Marvelous Maple stamped in Versamark on Soft Sky card stock.  I also used a piece Sweater Weather designer series paper.  I finished up the card with a strip of fringed Burlap Ribbon and a Naturals designer button with a bit of the leftover burlap tied into the button.

This card is quick and easy to create. I'm going to send it to the Girl Scout leaders who tool my girls on a bus trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo today.

Any questions about these projects, please send me an email.  ...Next up on the tour is Tamra Davis.   Click on the image below or go to her blog following this link: http://thecardladies.com.
