Freshly Made Sketches #16 Butterfly Trio

Ever since Freshly Made Sketches started, I've wanted to play along.  But I always seemed to miss the deadline.  This week, I made it my personal challenge to complete the card before the deadline.  Here's the sketch:

And here's my card:

Clarice would say these butterflies are "sparktelly."
I stamped the butterflies on Whisper White, then colored them with markers.  Next, I used a two-way glue pen and added the Dazzling Diamonds.  I experimented with various shades of blues and yellows before I settled on Marina Mist and So Saffron. I had used bright colors to fill in the butterflies, but they looked way too bright to use for the card base.

I have two workshops scheduled at the end of the month. I think I'll demo this card since it uses one of the SAB stamp sets.  What do you think?

Stamps: Kindness Matters
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, So Saffron, Marina Mist, Subtles dsp Pattern Stack
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, markers - Daffodil Delight, More Mustard, Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, Island Indigo
Accessories: Dazzling Details, Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy Stamping!

Susan
